Portland metro
Flooring Installation
Flooring sets the tone the moment a buyer walks in. It is also where investors most often overspend on material that no buyer will notice or underspend on material that fails before closing.
What is included
- Luxury vinyl plank, the workhorse for rentals and flips
- Hardwood refinishing where original floors are worth saving
- Tile for kitchens, baths, and entries
- Carpet for bedrooms, at investor material pricing
- Subfloor repair and leveling before anything goes down
Flooring Installation: questions we get
Is it worth refinishing original hardwood?
In older Portland neighborhoods, usually yes. Original fir and oak is a selling feature, and refinishing is often cheaper than a quality LVP install. We will pull a vent and check thickness before recommending it.
How soon can flooring go in before a listing?
LVP and carpet can go in within a day or two of the room being clear. Refinishing needs cure time, so budget about a week before you stage.
